Shahab Tiam
The Iranian- born Shahab Tiam had his first solo performance at age 12 as part of the school Chorus. He immigrated to America at age 18, and began working with local Persian musicians in Arizona, such as Reza G (DJ Tapesh), Basim Mozaffari and Reza Tolu. Shahab’s first US project "Tapesh" was born a short while later. The band started to perform at local events in Arizona.
Two years later Shahab moved to San Diego to focus on his educational goals and network with local Iranian musicians. He began to work with the great Kian Hejazi, and Farzad Emtesali, and they formed the band "Shadows." Shahab was later introduced to Shahyad, an Iranian music producer and composer, and the two are now working together on new works and concerts.
