Shahram (Shahrum) Kashani

Shahrum Kashani, also known as Shahrum K or SK, born July 7, 1974 is an Iranian- American pop singer. He has released 8 commercially successful albums. Shahrum released his professional debut album titled K-One in 1992, supported by Persian diva Leila Forouhar. Kashani's energetic style gained him popularity in a short amount of time.
International popularity came with his second album Atash with hits like "Begou Tou Begou" and "Khater Khah." In 2001 he stopped working with Caltex Records and signed on with Taraneh Records but later criticized them for poor promotions and delays in releasing his new album "Khoshalam." In a 2005 TV interview with Tapesh TV, Shahrum talked about his childhood, about his parent's divorce and his mom's short marriage to Googoosh's first husband, Mahmoud Ghorbani.
Shahrum K is known for his energetic and rebellious style and has admitted overuse of alcohol in personal life and on stage. He is also known for preferring unconventional looks for himself such as partially shaved eyebrows, etc.
