Zahra Hosseinkhan
Zahra Hosseinkhan is a renowned Persian Canadian artist who was born in Tehran, Iran In 1971. Her passion for visual arts started at a young age of 12. She continued her professional studies at the Tehran University of Fine Arts, and graduated with BA in Visual Arts in 1992.
Since 1988, Ms. Hosseinkhan has sold and exhibited works at various venues. Most of her earlier works reside in Iran as a result of her successful 5-year gallery venture. In 1998 she joined the Zahrajeet School of Fine Arts in Burnaby (British Columbia, Canada) as Director and Vice President. Also, in 2003 she incorporated Canadian Academy Of Fine Arts & Design, where, as a founder, teacher and artist, she had the opportunity to inspire and work with artists and students in the community.
Continuing with her artistic ventures, in 2003 Ms. Hosseinkhan became an artist in CPA Family of Artists and became an active member of Devon Publishing group, one of The world's largest publishing houses. Her work is represented through them as open addition prints worldwide.

Zahra Hosseinkhan has produced an expensive collection of paintings in oil, watercolor, pencil drawing, and acrylic, which have far exceeded the standards and expectations of local and international art critics.

Zahra Hosseinkhan has received several awards of recognition and excellence from the local, provincial and federal governments, such as:

- The 1998 Award from Ujjal Dosanjh, Ministry of Attorney General
- The 2003 Award from Patty Sahota, Member of Legislative assembly
