رضا ناژفر، متولد تهران بوده و تحصیلات ابتدایی موزیک خود را در فلوت در تهران به اتمام رساند و برای ادامه تحصیل در نزد اساتید بزرگ اروپایی به اوترخت (هلند) و وین (اتریش) رفت. در کنسرتهای مختلفی در اروپا، مکزیک و ژاپن شرکت کرده و استاد کلاسهای بین المللی فلوت و آهنگ سازی بوده است. از سال ۱۹۹۲ در موسسه اینزبروک اتریش استاد فلوت میباشد.
Reza Najfar, was born in Tehran, where he received his early musical education. He continued his flute studies at Utrecht and Vienna with Abbie de Quant (Netherlands) and Barbara Gisler-Haase, and in composition with Thomas Christian David and Dieter Schermann (Vienna music academy). He has been a Flute Professor at the Tiroler Landeskonservatorium Innsbruck (Austria) since 1992.
Work and Education
During his university education, Reza Najfar worked together with artists such as Geoffry Gilbert, Auréle Nicolet, William Bennett, Peter Lukas Graf and James Galway. While studying, he was also the solo-flautist in the orchestra of the "Vereinigte Bühnen Wiens" for three years.
Reza Najfar's concerts took him to several European countries, Japan and Mexico. He contributed to festivals such as "Österreich heute", the "Takayma Festival"(Japan) and "Musica e Magia" (Mexico).
Reza Najfar leads several international flute courses at home and abroad. Various publishing houses (Metra Sound Europe CH, Eroica Edition Wien, ALSO Publishing Ltd.Japan, Koch Musikverlage Austria, Ries & Erler Berlin and Alphonse Leduc Paris) have produced both compositions and educational material by him. He has recorded two CDs with works by Mauro Giuliani with KOCH Records and a CD with tangos by Astor Piazzolla will be available in the near future.
