سحر دهقان
سحر دهقان (وبسایت رسمی sahardehghan.com) رقصنده ایرانی است. او در سنین کودکی از ایران به فرانسه مهاجرت کرد و تحصیلات فرهنگی و هنری خود را در آنجا آغاز کرد. سحر سپس به کالیفرنیا مهاجرت کرد و ضمن تدریس، موفق به اخذ مدرک کارشناسی ارشد شد. او از دوران کودکی در معرض شعر، موسیقی، درام و رقص بوده است. سحر پیانو را در محضر استاد پری برخشی آموخت. همجنین او همواره با دنیای تئاتر ارتباط نزدیکی داشته است و علاوه بر آموزش تئاتر یونان، فرانسه و انگلیس، در تئاتر ایران نیز به همراه ویدا قهرمانی و گروه داروگ کار کرده است.
او هم اکنون در فرانسه با شاهرخ مشکین قلم و نکیسا بر روی ساخت و اجرای رقص عارفانه بر روی آثار ادب فارسی به ویژه آثار مولانا و حافظ فعالیت می کند. او یکی از اعضای اصلی گروه باله افسانه است. سحر علاوه بر فرانسه، همچنین در کشورهای انگلیس، ایتالیا، آمریکا و امارات متحده کلاسهای رقص برگزار کرده است از جمله در شهرهای لندن، پاریس، سانفرانسیسکو، نیویورک، لس ۀنجلس، دبی و ....
Sahar Dehgahn (Official Site: Sahardehghan.com) is a dancer and choreographer. She is originally from Iran and moved to Paris, France at an early age, where she began her artistic and cultural studies in dance, music and drama. She has been trained in piano and music theory by Master Pari Barkeshli, has been studying Indian classical dance and drama under the great Master Pandit Chitresh Das, in India and in the U.S. She has worked with various Theatre troupes internationally and has been trained by Ariane Mnouchkine at the world renowned Theatre du Soleil in Paris as an intern (stage).
She recently performed the first role in the Rimsky Korsakov ballet "Scheherazade" working with Orchestra Maestro Richard Boudharam (France) and Igor Valajnic, at the Guangzhou Opera in China in the occasion of the opening of the Asian Olympic Games thanks to Melody for Dialogue and UNESCO and the Asian Games Commitee. She has been principal dancer of San Francisco Ballet Afsaneh performing dances of the Silk Road, reciting Persian poetry on stage, teaching and creating collaborative choreography. She has also been a dancer of the San Francisco Presidio Dance company.She is currently based in Paris, working with dance companies like Yeraz, Nakissa and Shahrokh Moshkin Ghalam but also collaborates with international groups, creates her own choreography and performs as a soloist as well. From 1999 to 2010 she has performed many international tours and performed in renowned places like the San Francisco Opera, the San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts Theatre, The HP Pavillion San Jose, The San Francisco City Hall (Hotel de Ville), the OC Pavillion and UCLA Auditorium in Los Angeles, Salle Canton in Monte Carlo, Monaco, The Octogone de Pully in Switzerland, The Oscar Peterson Hall in Montreal, The Abu Dhabi Culture and Heritage Theatre, The Guangzhou Opera in China, The London British Museum, The Houston Museum, The San Francisco Asian Art Museum, the San Francisco De Young Museum and in Paris at The Sorbonne University, the Grand Theater of the Casino de Paris, The Theatre Marie Bell, Theatre of Salle Adyar and many more. She has also performed various forms of mystical practice not only in major theatres but also many sacred places for example at the Martin Luther King's famous Riverside in New York or Saint Ethelburgas Center for PEACE in London, at the Aga Khan, Golden Jubilee (50th anniversary of his Reign) in Paris, and many sacred places in India as well Khaneghah centers in Turkey and Lebanon.
In 2007, she was invited to perform sufi dance as a soloist in Konya, Turkey for the international festival of the 800 anniversary of Mowlana Rumi. She has performed international tours with Master musicians like Madjid Khaladj, Master Reza Rahnama, opera singer Rouben Haratounian, opera singer Raeeka Shehabi-Yaghmai as well as Hossein Zahawy, Ostad Abbos Kossimov, Korean violinist Hyun Su Shin, Guo Gan a Chinese Erhu Master, and Master Indian Tabla players like Yusuf Mahmoud and Salar Nader... Sahar is also a choreographer. Her recent choreography work inspired by Persian poetry, J.Sebastian Bach's music and Giovanni Bologna's sculptures was presented at the Sorbonne university in Paris this last July 2010. She is now working on new creative projects...She is also teaching various workshops with students in Paris, London, Switzerland, San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles, the UAE and now also in Italy.
